IBM Tivoli Netcool/Proviso is performance management software that provides fast network reporting suitable for trend analysis, troubleshooting, capacity planning, and SLA objectives. The highly flexible and scaleable architecture allows for full integration into a service provider or enterprise scale Operations Systems and Software (OSS) infrastructure. This course will prepare you to perform a real-world deployment of Netcool/Proviso with simple integration requirements. Modules in this course are presented by lecture, practical application, lab activities, and case studies. You will build on the Level I activities by installing additional components to an existing instance of the product, as well as work with new properties, new aggregation sets, new reports, and new collection metrics.
